Fire Isolation Cyclone
Designed to reduce the propagation of flame generated from the introduction of a hot particle into the system. A high temperature sensor and/or spark detector signal the system of the presence of a hot particle. This initiates a temporary shut-down of airflow by activating automated valves and stopping the rotary airlock. This extinguishes the hot particle and prevents propagation. Once the cyclone temperature returns to a normal operating range, flow through the cyclone is automatically restored.
